It’s that time of the year again – Time for our next
SPONSORED WALK
Sunday, 6 July 2025
This time we will be doing something different. We will be joining the Wirral Coastal Walk, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Wirral. We will be walking with people from other organisations, but all the money you raise will going towards our charity, So the Child May Live.
The walk will start from the Floral Pavilion, Marine Promenade, New Brighton, CH45 2JS and there is a charge of £5 for each participant which can be paid on the day or on line in advance. There are three places to end the walk, and you can decide on the day how far you want to walk: Leasowe Common (distance 6 kilometers, 3.75 miles); Kings Gap (distance 12 kilometers, 7.45 miles), or the whole walk finishing at the Marine Promenade, Wirral Country Park, Thurstaston no later than 5pm (20 kilometers, approximately 12.5 miles).
We will all start together from the Floral Pavilion at 10.00am. People will make their own way to the start. Please try to get there for no later than 9.45am and look out for us when you arrive. If you need transport, get in touch and we will see what can be done to share cars.
You will need to register with us if you want to take part by emailing me at carmel.dersch@blueyonder.co.uk, and we will send you more information and collection sheets to raise money for So the Child May Live. There will also be a charge of £5 each to take part, payable to the Rotary Clubs of Wirral, which can be paid on the day, or on line in advance if you prefer. For more information go on line to wirralcoastalwalk.org.
We look forward to seeing you there and working together to raise money for sick and injured children in Nepal.
