A new event took place on Friday, 7 June, when an evening of music took place at St Anthony of Padua Church Hall in Liverpool. The hall was full of supporters coming to enjoy it and everyone had a really happy time.
We started with singing by Tayo Aluko, a wonderful African singer, who held everyone spellbound. Next on stage was the Asylum Link Choir, and many of the audience could no longer sit still. The floor filled with watchers getting up to dance along with the music.
Then came the wonderful music from Joanne and Alex, singer and pianist from Hong Kong.
It was a great evening, helped along by the dinner provided by some of our supporters to keep everyone going.
We raised an amazing £1200 on the night, all of which will be going to support the children of Nepal.
