We are very sad to have to announce the closing of Lalligrass on 31 March 2025, a family-owned shop in central Liverpool, which sells hand-made goods from Nepal and which has been a long-time supporter of So the Child May Live.
Lalligrass is the Nepalese word for Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, and the shop sells hand-made goods made in the Himalayas. The younger son of the family lives in Nepal with his Nepalese wife and they send over various items made by local people. The Liverpool shop is run by his older brother.
They have supported So the Child May Live for many years, taking a collection in the shop and highlighting our charity on their website.
Whilst we are sorry to see the shop closing, we’re pleased to let you know that Lalligrass are still available at their online store: https://www.lalligrass.com/
We all wish them the best of luck in the future!
