The special training for staff at the Kanti Children’s Hospital on the treatment of patients with Covid-19 has now taken place, after we were able to send them the money to cover it.
The training was done not only for the doctors and nurses, but also for the hospital cleaners and other support staff. It included how to deal safely with the bodies of patients who sadly did not survive.
They have also appointed two new laboratory technicians to look specifically for the Covid virus in patients.
The cost of this has all been covered by money sent from So the Child May Live, raised by our supporters.
