Carmel finally finished her challenge – walking 7 miles a day for 7 days – on Sunday 22 August.
On that day she was accompanied by one of our long-time supporters, Anne Forsythe, as she walked along the Hale coast and then finished at the statue of the Childe of Hale, a giant who allegedly lived in the village in the 1600s.
